Blogger Fail

That is what I am. A blogger failure. I had completely forgotten about this blog even though I know (at least to my knowledge) that no one reads this. I blame myself and a thing called life. But mostly just myself. So here I go again with an update of what's been happening since the last post.
My friend and I did go see Harry Potter and Deadly Hallows Part 1 (dressed of course) and it was one of my favorites now. I don't have a picture of me dressed with me but I do plan on having a photoshoot with the many different costumes that I have.
Going down the list of countdowns: the Eclipse DVD. Is there more to say? It has to be my favorite so far in the Twilight saga. And if they can get me to like Breaking Dawn, it will be a miricle. This will lead me to something else, but I'll leave that for later.
Now my birthday. I chose to go to Disneyland for my 20th birthday (before my 21st which will be in Vegas!!). I do have pictures so here we go...
Snow White: my childhood favorite
Belle: Another favorite
Repunzal: my new favorite
There are so many more pictures that I can't possibly upload all of them. I stayed all day there with my friend (thanks Tass for going with me).
So I didn't go to the Twilight convention in LA since I was low on funds. Nor am I going to Comic Con this year but for a completely different reason which brings me to the news: Instead of Comic Con, I'm going out of the country to the lovely city of Rio de Janerio! I have family there and I leave in 4 days. :)
Pictures will follow this big adventure of mine and I can't wait.
That's it for me and I hope everyone has a good 4th of July!

The Missing Pieces

I have been super busy with life in general and now it the last two months of the semester so professors are piling up the assignments, projects and papers. I may not be able to have an "adventure" but I'll try to at least write about something.
Harry Potter is around the corner now and I've reserved my tickets for me and my friend. Since I'm all up for dressing up (I should do it as a career, shouldn't I?), we are dressing up. She's going to be Hermione and I'm going to be Tonks. I've got like 98% of my costume done and of course pictures will be posted. This upcoming weekend, we are going for a Harry Potter marathon (which will take up at least 12 hours if not more). And the best part is that we are going to do this in costume! hehe
I've also have been thinking of finally going to Comic Con in July. My cousins are all up for it which means I've got transportation, so now I only need to see about a hotel, food and etc... Because I co host a podcast, I've got connections to get a Press badge (yippee!)
I would like to continue to go to conventions now that I got my friend into it (she's in love with Charlie Bewley and that gives me an advantage) but it doesn't look like I will go to the Supernatural one since I'm saving up for Comic Con.
So that's it for now!

Countdowns:
Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Part 1- 11 days
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (DVD)- 26 days
My Birthday- 68 days
Twilight Convention (Los Angeles)- 116 days
Comic Con- 255 days

Twilight Convention in Anaheim 10/9/2010

As the title says I went to the Twilight Convention over the weekend and had a blast! It was my 2nd twilight convention (and 2nd convention ever!) so I knew some things to expect. I managed to convince my super harry potter fan friend to come with me dressed as... Rosalie Hale! I went as Alice Cullen only because I was much shorter than her.

Here's a picture of the two of us all vamped up:

I was really tempted to stop by Disneyland but we didn't have any time! When we got there, there was a huge line! After goofing off while waiting in line, I find out that Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) couldn't make it which made me sad since I was so excited to take his picture and get his autograph. The lady at the table said that I could pick anyone else so my friend and I decided on Tinsel Korey (Emily) who turned out to be awesome!

Here's the picture we took with her:

The reason we are holding a Harry Potter book was that during her Q & A, Tinsel said that she loved the Harry Potter books so I had the brilliant idea to hold one of the books during the picture. And during the autograph signing I asked her what her favorite character was and she responded Luna Lovegood! Both my friend and I began to love Tinsel even more...

And this was her autograph:

My friend and I found out that we now love actors Daniel Cudmore (Felix) and Charlie Bewley (Demetri). They are super funny and Dan is so huge!

There was this time where Dan made Charlie laugh so hard that he turned all red from not enough air! "Mr. Muffins, I love you!" hehe

Next time I'm investing in the gold package so that I can sit closer and get all of their autograph!

I saw the Hillwood Show (http://www.thehillywoodshow.com) yet again and this time got a Team Hillywood shirt (which they all signed) as well as another picture.

The first time (at the Eclipse convention) I got their Jacob (Kyle) to hug me...

...but this time I got their Jasper (Drew) to do it!

Next time its your turn Edward (Jacob)!

These conventions are a blast to do so I recommend any twilight fan to go even if you buy the really cheap tickets! To see where they have the conventions visit http://www.twilightconvention.com
You will not regret it!

Now time to save up for both the Supernatural convention and the Twilight convention that will both be held in LA (but each are in different months). I know that the Supernatural one is going to cost me an arm and a leg ($80 for seats in the back and only for one day!) while the Twilight one has actual reason behind it ($329 for front row seats for all three days, autographs from every guest that comes, a ticket to the volturi ball and so much more!). Although I may be spending more on Twilight (have to get a hotel room which I'm still searching for the best price), I know I'll enjoy it!

Countdowns:
Halloween- 20 Days
Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Part 1- 39 days
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (DVD)- 54 days
My Birthday- 96 days
Supernatural Convention (Los Angeles)- 125 days
Twilight Convention (Los Angeles)- 144 days

A Little More About Me...

Even though you can read my complete profile on the side, there are some things that I would like to add. So here goes my bio:

I was born in the wonderful place of Brazil and moved to California at the age of 3. I've spent my whole life in one place and never really gone places like my friends did. Let's face it: my life was BORING!! It wasn't until a few years ago, I was asked to be a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding in... Las Vegas! Even though I could barely do anything, I had fun just being in a different place. I went back to Vegas a year or two after the wedding and I could not be more happy! Then I happen to pester my parents to take a vacation to San Francisco which was a place I always wanted to go. The most recent trip I'd taken was to Santa Cruz, California for my last birthday. Now I seem to never want to stop traveling! I've made it my goal to visit all 50 states before I die (I've managed 2 states already).
Currently I'm a college student who wants to get a degree in Interior Design. My other hidden talent (that I only recently found out) is writing. After reading so much (I own 100+ books) and watching so many movies (I have 80 and counting), I'd decided that I could write my own series of books. Right now I'm working on the first book at any spare time I have. My sole reader and number 1 fan is already hooked even though I only have a few chapters. Along with going to college and writing novels, I'm a co host on a podcast called Bite On This: A Vampire Diaries Podcast which leads me to one of my crazes: vampires. Everything with the supernatural like witches, werewolves, vampires, fairies, etc is my cup of sugar. I think the only ones that I have a craze are the Tudor era (mostly with Anne Boleyn), Marie Antoinette and Greek mythology.

I'm done now with my spew about me and I won't ever do that again! Thank you for hanging in there!

Welcome!

Hi there! My name is Marcella (or Marcy or many other names) and welcome to my blog! I've decided to create this blog to record my adventures throughout the years since I'm tired of being bored! I try to do something every weekend no matter how minor it is...

Hope you enjoy reading about my adventures...
